Functional Breathing & Breathwork

Functional Breathing

Science-backed breathing for everyday wellbeing

Functional breathing uses breath as a key tool to improve respiratory function, reduce stress and anxiety, enhance sleep, ease tension and pain, and boost both cognitive and physical performance. It focuses on physiological aspects of breathing and applies specific techniques to, for example, improve oxygen delivery to your brain and muscle or to stimulate the vagus nerve to calm down your nervous system.

Your first session includes a breathing assessment based on which an individual plan is set up. Functional breathing is suitable for individuals of all ages, including those with health or nervous system conditions.

Session format

Individual sessions - 60 minutes - Sessions available in Geneva and surroundings - Also available at your home.

Disclaimer

Functional breathing is not suitable during the first trimester of pregnancy.

Breathwork

Conscious breathing for release, clarity, and inner awareness

Breathwork uses consciously deepened and amplified breathing to explore your consciousness and to release and process physical, emotional, and energetic tension held in the body. Such tension may appear as recurring emotions, behavioural patterns, or simply the accumulation of daily stress.

Rooted in traditional practice and supported by modern neuroscience, this rhythmic breathing helps you move beyond the analytical mind to access deeper layers of awareness. Working together, I will guide you through the process whilst you are in charge of your breathing.

Both group and individual sessions offer a safe, confidential environment to release or change perspective on what weighs you down and to connect with your vitality, often leading to a profound sense of lightness, awareness and focus.

Session format

Group sessions (up to 10 people) - 2h

Individual sessions - 60-75 minutes - Also available at your home.

Sessions available in Geneva and surroundings.
